Gabriele Pieroni

Not having a precise memory of the moment, according to the trustworthy testimony of his mother Giuseppina, Gabriele Pieroni came into this world on a freezing January night in the hills of the Langhe in Alba, the last day it was possible to be a Capricorn. We're in a year more Orwellian than 1900 and find, with rumors whispering of his "extreme content," that he is living in the land with rivers of wine and hills of cheese. After his undergraduate in Modern Philosophy, Gabriele took a Master in Journalism at the Walter Tobagi School and has written for several online and print publications, including, Wired, Il Corriere della Sera and L'espresso.

He writes about food and culture, especially if it's cultural food or edible culture. He loves kebabs (and why not?!) in their many variations. As for wine, it is first a nourishment for him and so should be drinkable, fresh, pleasant, and most importantly, healthy. His friends and family know he is be capable of writing a Great Epic Tale. For now, he is more than content with being a good journalist, an excellent gourmet, and a pleasant dinner companion. For Wine Pass, he looks after the web content and collaborates with the print magazine.
